Gary’s Obituary Gary Lee Weisenburger, 74, Underwood, died March 6, 2019 at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 15 at Tuttle United Methodist Church, 401 Main Street N, Tuttle, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be held at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan at 3:00 pm. Gary was born with his twin brother, Garold, on May 14, 1944 to John and Lydia Weisenburger. He was raised on the family farm in Tuttle, attending Tuttle School until joining the US Army in 1962.

After his honorable discharge in 1964 he worked for Intermountain Lumber Co. for several years in Missoula, MT. He returned to ND in 1972 and worked construction as an insulator for several companies until 1992, when he began work for Arena Welding, as a welder, until 2004. He then moved to Underwood and lived with his twin brother, Garold, where he retired to camping and fishing.

Gary was a member of the Tuttle Wildlife club. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and card playing with his buddies. He loved seeing his nieces and nephews as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews.

Gary is survived by his twin brother, Garold, Underwood, ND; brothers, Arley (Sylvia) Weisenburger, Seeley Lake, MT, Glendell (Betty) Weisenburger, Missoula, MT, Wilbert (Debbie) Weisenburger, Carrington, ND; sisters, Janice (Andy) Anderson, Bismarck, ND, Gladys Clapham, Missoula, MT; brother-in-law, Vernon Rask, Olympia, WA; sister-in-law, Julie Weisenburger, Bismarck, ND; several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Rachel (Julius) Wolff, Maynard (Maxine) Weisenburger, Shirley Gruebele, Mildred Rask, Stanley Weisenburger, Leon Weisenburger, sisters-in-law, Connie Weisenburger and Vivian Weisenburger; and brother-in-law, Jim Clapham.
