Obituary for Gary Risberg Gary Risberg, 70, Appleton, passed away October 25, 2018 with his family by side. Born on September 29, 1948, he is the son of the late Elroy Risberg and Betty Johnson. Gary served for the United States Navy as a Sea Bee in the Vietnam War.

He married the former Roxanna Tornow on June 22, 1974 and they were married for 43 years before she passed away on October 6, 2016. Gary loved the Packers, cooking, times spent with his family, and anything outdoors. Gary made everyone feel like they were part of the family.

He is survived by his six children, Sue (Tom) Hietpas, Darlene Richmond, Carol Reinhardt, Shawn Risberg, Erika (Anthony Denil) Risberg and Christopher (Angela) Risberg; grandchildren, Paula (Jody) Ridgley, Troy Krause, Travis Renier, Eric (Colleen Wolfe-VanCleve) Renier, Dustin (Amanda) Reinhardt, Kendra (Tyler) Capelle, Trista Hietpas, Kelly Risberg, Aryanna Pilarski, Damien “DJ” Risberg, Eiliya Risberg, Zachary Risberg, Brandon Risberg, James “Taco” Risberg, Alexander Alan Risberg; great grandchildren, Makayla, Kayden, Jack, Hadley, Hayden, Abigail; siblings, Sandy (Bruce) Nelson, Carl (Debra) Jensen, Rick (Christie) Risberg; favorite faithful companion, Diogi. Gary is preceded in death by his parents; wife Roxanna; son, Eric James Risberg; brother Dennis Risberg and infant sister, Barbara. Services will be held Monday October 29, from 11 AM until 1 PM at 420 East Summer St., Appleton, WI.
