Obituary for Dale Lindstedt Dale P. Lindstedt, 56, formerly of Port Washington, WI, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, Sept. 29 at his home in Green Bay. Dale was born in Milwaukee on October 10,1961, to the late Howard and Jane Lindstedt.

He grew up in Milwaukee, WI. When he was 17 years old he relocated with his parents to Port Washington, WI. He graduated in 1980 from Port Washington High School.

Dale worked currently worked at Dedicated Systems, Inc. in Green Bay as a dispatcher. His passion was always fire fighting. In 1981, Dale joined the Port Washington Fire Department.

He would later join Saukville Fire Department, Arizona City Fire Department, Elephant Butte Fire Department and retire from Caballo Fire Department after serving 36 years all together. Because fire fighting was in his blood Dale taught Fire Fighting I at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, WI. As he would say “he taught new fire fighters to be old fire fighters” Dale recently moved back after spending some time in Arizona and New Mexico with the love of his life Antoinette and his furkids (Rio, Buddy, and Timber).

Dale’s greatest joy was his three grand children, Allianna Lindstedt-Vaughn, Gavin Koch, and Marnetta-Sue Koch. He looked forward to Sunday dinners with them. Dale is survived by his children Danielle (John) Koch of Sheboygan, WI and Douglas (Jennifer) Lindstedt of Germantown, his brothers Howard (Rosanne) Lindstedt of Milwaukee and Craig (Cheri) Lindstedt of West Bend, nieces Karen (Paul) Lenhart of Greenfield, Kristine (Drew) Muth of Wauwatosa, Kerri (Paul) VanNatta of Milwaukee, and Laura (Mark) Landvatter of Slinger, and one nephew William “Billy” Lindstedt of Germandtown.

Dale is also survived by great nieces and nephews, friends and other family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per Dale’s wishes a “Celebration of Life” will be held at 2 p.m..

Sunday, Oct. 20 , at Saukville Fire Department. Visitation will be at the fire department from 2 p.m until 6 p.m..
