Obituary for Lee “Mike” Williams Lee Williams 2/18/1941 – 11/11/2018 You were a great husband, father, grandfather but most of all, you were a great man and a man of integrity. You were also a great teacher and mentor that taught so much to so many people beyond your family. You were a hard worker that provided for your family and did what you had to do to take care of us.

You taught us how to fix cars, although David was really the only one that learned anything, you taught us the finer points of hunting and fishing, which I still obsess over to this day. There are so many memories of you dad that there just isn’t enough time to tell your story. Everybody that knew you or knew of you would say that you were a one of a kind man with your own intricacies and traits, from your cowboy hat that you never left the house without, or the bagpipes blaring from your truck stereo or your extended play cassette tapes that continuously played the same 2-4 songs over and over to your Canadian Honker emblazoned bug shield on your truck.

There were the long days in the tree stand, the long cold mornings into the marsh or long days on the water chasing walleyes or musky but we wouldn’t trade those days for anything. The memories of the grocery store parking lot foot races or playing catch in the yard will be not be soon forgotten. You will be missed by more people than you know and you have touched the lives of more people than you can comprehend.

You were truly a one of kind man and father, husband, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by all those that you touched. From all of us, Shelley, Michael, David, Shelly, Teresa, Brooke, Madison, Hunter Haley, Jenna, stepson by friendship Joe Nelson and all your extended family and friends we love you and miss you! !
