Obituary for Robert “Bob” Shield Robert “Bob” Shield, age 58, of Forest, Indiana passed away peacefully in Green Bay on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born August 16, 1960 in Green Bay to John and Carol (Rakow) Shield. Bob graduated from Preble High School with the class of 1978 and later graduated from U.W. River Falls in 1982.

Bob moved to Indiana to pursue a career in agriculture and later construction. He owned Shield Construction Co. for the past 20 years. He enjoyed gardening and singing in the church choir.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Shield; brother, Scott (Kris) Shield and his nephews, Thomas (Katie) Shield and Marc (fiancée Cristey Johnson) Shield. Bob was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” Shield; his grandparents, John and Fanchon Shield; Al and Ruth Rakow and his aunt, Linda Rakow. Details of Bob’s Memorial Service will be published once finalized.
