Obituary for Gary S. “Rut-Ro” Shinn Gary “Rut-Ro” Shinn, 65 of Woodlyn, PA passed away suddenly on December 7 2018. Gary was born January 24 1953. He graduated from Ridley High School, Ridley Township PA and worked for several car dealerships on the “Golden Mile” in Springfield PA before going into the auto business for himself.

Most recently he worked with several Charitable organizations helping families and veterans. He was an active member of Stars, Stripes, Bars and Pipes Motorcycle Club. Gary was predeceased by his mother Genevieve Mickey Shinn, his father Clifford Shinn Jr, and his sister Karen Gommer.

He is survived by his brothers Kevin, John, and Donald Shinn. His children Joy Shinn-Thompson, Kate Shinn, and Steven Reed. His grandchildren Jordan Parham (Anthony), Skyler Nepa (Tyler) and Karissa Michalec.

His great grandchildren Gianni Parham, Abby Calzone, and Paisley Nepa ; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral arrangements will be private but there will be a memorial service on Saturday December 15th at 1:30pm at Walts Red Rose Cafe, 2222 Mcdade Blvd in Holmes PA. Family and friends are invited.
