Gary Stubbs 74, born December 31, 1944. in Chagrin Falls, OH. Departed peacefully on January 23, 2019.

Son of the late Uler and Cora Weems Stubbs, preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. Surviving are his loving wife Ruby Louise Stubbs, son Gary (Mia) Stubbs ii and granddaughter Quinn Stubbs, all of Steubenville. Brother Lawrence (Trudy) Stubbs of Columbus, OH, sister Elvina (Connie) Crosen of Chagrin Falls, OH, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Gary graduated form Kenston HS. He was a top track and field athlete and three sport letterman. Gary also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a retiree of Weirton Steel and Steubenville City Schools. Gary was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and a coach of the Biggio’s softball team. Services will be at the Vinson House of Mortuary, 711 North 5th St., Saturday, January 26, 2019, 10-12 a.m.wake service immediately to follow.
