GENAE NICOLE BARRETT Genae Nicole Barrett was born January 11, 1979 to William Undral Scott and Shellah Barrett. Genae transitioned from this life on March 1, 2019. Genae attended school in KCMPSD.

She graduated from Southeast High School 1997. She worked as a C.N.A (Certified Nursing Assistant) at Westridge Nursing Center before her health declined. She loved her kids, drawing, fishing, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Genae loved life. Genae had two brothers Adrian Undral Barrett and William Carl Scott; Grandparents, Billy R. Barrett and Mary Kate Barrett; one uncle Harry Barrett Sr; one aunt Claudia Lane; one cousin, Angela Cordel (Keith); Mother-in-law, Edna Anderson. Genae also was a grandmother.

Her grandchildren are Thedral Hard Ridge Jr., Theaun Hardridge, Theddrell Hardridge, Thamone Hardridge, Tenasia R. Hardridge and Donald R. Anderson III. One granddaughter Serenity Hardridge; two bestfriends Talisha Sanders and Lakecia Webb; boyfriend John Muhamad. Genae had a beautiful smile, both she and that beautiful smile will be greatly missed from Kansas City, Missouri to Dallas, Texas and in California.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Watkins Heritage Chapel 4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri 64130. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Twelve Gates Memorial Gardens.
