Obituary for Mr. Gene Houston Mullendore A memorial service for Mr. Gene Houston Mullendore, 85, of Anniston, will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at Eulaton First Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Huddleston officiating. The family will receive friends on the same day from 10:00 am until service time. A burial will follow the service at the church’s cemetery.

Mr. Mullendore passed away on September 9, 2018. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Roy Mullendore (Donna), Stephen Mullendore (Elizabeth), and Timothy Mullendore (Kim); grandchildren, Kimberly Brown, Kelly Simpson, Brooke Reeves, William Mullendore (Maria), Anna Whittaker (Danny), Merril Ann Watkins (Roy), Tiffany Martin (Colby), Cory Cosby; great grandchildren, Lilliana, Avery, Hannah, Luke, Stephen, Chase, Owen, Zane, Jace, Aiden, and AnnaLeigh; brother, Jimmy Mullendore, and a host of extended family members. Mr. Mullendore is preceded in death by his wife, Ora Mae Mullendore; parents, Gester and Mary Mullendore; siblings, Mary White, Ruth Moon, Novie Medders, Eloise Morrison, Christine Merchant, Polly Truitt, Tom Mullendore, William Mullendore, and Otis Mullendore.

Mr. Mullendore graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Indiana in 1952. He then worked in the road building industry in Alabama. He retired as a General Manager for APAC Alabama Inc., Hodges Division in 1996 after 42 years of service.
