Geneva Burton Fraley, 90, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 after a brief illness at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Cambridge on October 17, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Lennie and Katie Burton. She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1946.

Mrs. Fraley worked at the Phillips Packing Company in her younger years and later for the Dorchester County Board of Education until she retired. On June 29, 1956, she married Billy D. Fraley, Sr., who passed away on July 13, 2000. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge and loved her lunch dates with her friends.

She is survived by a son Billy D. Fraley, Jr. of Baltimore, a daughter Gena K. Fraley of Salisbury, two step brothers Billy Burton and wife Doris of East New Market and Bobby Burton and wife Karen of Exmore, VA and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 12 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiating.

Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church, 501 Glenburn Ave.
