OBITUARY Genevieve M Bischoff August 2, 1926 – October 30, 2018 Genevieve May Bischoff, age 92, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at her home in Toms River NJ, while surrounded by her children and extended family. Born in Boonton, NJ, Genevieve lived in Toms River for the past 46 years. Gen graduated from Orange Memorial as a Registered Nurse and worked as a school nurse.

She eventually retired from Point Pleasant Hospital as an Operating Room nurse. Genevieve was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lakewood and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post # 9691 in Howell. She was also a past State President of the New Jersey VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Genevieve was pre-deceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert Kenneth Bischoff. She is survived by her son Richard (Patricia) Bischoff of Joliet, MT; 3 daughters, Linda (Rick) Wendt of Lexington, VA, Barbara Bischoff of Toms River and Margie Bliem of Natural Bridge, VA. Gen is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday Nov. 4, 2018 from 2:00- 5:00PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08757. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday Nov.

5, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Brig. General Wm C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Wrightstown, NJ.
