George Chabra 85 of Streetsboro passed away peacefully March 2, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born October 31, 1933 in Cambria, PA to Nicholas and Helena (Miklus) Chabra. George worked at various places during his lifetime and enjoyed serving the community as the owner of Aurora Tree Service.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years Joan (Heineman), children Bruce (Jill), Gary (Michelee), Cheryl (David), Steven (Cyndie) and Jon (Thurle), 25 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brothers Joe and Steve, sister Jean and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons George Michael and Aaron Michael and grandchildren Shannon, Alicia, Aaron, George and Gregory. Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1694 State Route 303, Streetsboro, Ohio 44241.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the worldwide work of Jehovah’s Witnesses at JW.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
