George D. Ogden, 79 of Ravenna passed away Thursday June 28, 2018 at his home. He was born February 9, 1939 in Sebring, Ohio to the late Russell and Mary Gertrude (Wright) Ogden. George had worked for Terex in Hudson before retiring in 1997 from General Motors in Parma.

Being a lifetime member of the Ravenna Elks he had served in every chair and was a Past Exaulted Ruler and also had served as the club manager at one time. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jo Ogden and stepson Chuck. Calling hours will be from 12 Noon until time of Ravenna Elks services at 1:00 PM with funeral services to follow on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.

George will be laid to rest next to his wife in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
