George Frank Bielut, Sr., age 78, of Edgewater, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Lottie and Walter Bielut; George moved to this area in 2002, from Glen Burnie, MD. A former salesman in the food service industry, George previously owned a fishing charter because fishing was his true passion.

He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, boating, taking cruises and traveling, dancing and spending time with the neighbors. Survivors include 2 daughters, Anita (Carl) Kolbusz of Green Bay, WI and Susan (Joseph) Miller of Salisbury, MD; three sons, George “Frank” (Karen Sistek) Bielut, Jr. of Pikeville, KY, David (Ellen) Bielut of Monroe, LA and Tony Bielut of Wilkes-Barre, PA; sister-in-law, Rosanne Bielut of Baltimore, MD; close friends, Mike and Kathy LaFountain of Edgewater; eleven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dora, in 2017.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, at the Hacienda Del Rio Clubhouse, with Pastor Kyle McQuillen, officiating.
