Ronald Wayne Stock, age 78, of Edgewater, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Florida Hospital New Smyrna. Born in New Matamoras, Ohio; Ronald moved to this area 36 years ago from Cleveland, Ohio. Retired after 30 years working on the Space Shuttle Program with NASA, Ronald was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church, Edgewater; and a member of Grace Community Church, New Smyrna Beach.

Mr. Stock was a member of the masonic lodge in Ohio and also a member of Via De Cristo; he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and volunteering at his churches. His real passions were singing at church, spending time with his family and helping animals. Survivors include his life companion, Catherine O. Baxter; 6 children, Jeffrey Stock, Terri Stock, Ronnie Stock, Trooper Lee, Dustin Stock and Elizabeth Scheel; 6 grandchildren; a great grandchild; a brother, Gary Newlen; and his beloved cats, Turbo and Trudy.

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, at Bella Vista Baptist Church, with Pastor John Marsh and the Reverend Allen Baisley, officiating.
