OBITUARY George Franklin Williams Jr. September 13, 1932 – September 17, 2018 George Franklin Williams, Jr., 86, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. Born in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late George Franklin Williams and Minnie Camden Williams. He was a US Navy veteran.

He is survived by three children, Wanda Burns, Wesley C. Williams and George F. “Willie” Williams, III and three grandchildren, Dana Frances Williams, Crystal Dawn Williams and Christian Dillon Williams. A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Spring Hill Cemetery by the American Legion Post 16.
