OBITUARY William “Bill” Shirley Sprinkle Jr. March 9, 1948 – September 10, 2018 William “Bill” Shirley Sprinkle, Jr. 70, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Sharon Wright Sprinkle. Born March 9, 1948, in Pulaski, he was the son of the late William Shirley Sprinkle, Sr. and the late Fannie Cox Sprinkle.

Bill was a retired chief financial officer for Schewels Furniture Company. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by two children, Michelle Lynn Sprinkle of Lynchburg and Vernon Adams, Jr. of Pikeville, KY; two sisters, Geraldine S. Champion of Estero, FL and Debbie S. Winter (Lenny) of Fairfax; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Matthews and Cassidy Ruhland; one great grandson, Parker Matthews; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Dr. Rev.
