Leander – George Gonzalez passed away November 22, 208. He was 57. George was born in Demitt, Texas on September 20, 1961 to George Z. and Blasa (Ramos) Gonzales.

George was a resident of Leander, Texas since 1978 and former resident of Austin, Texas. He attended Sinton schools. George was an iron worker for more than 40 years currently employed by Dennis Steel in Leander, Texas.

Preceding in death is his father, George Gonzales. Survivors include his mother: Blasa Gonzales of Sinton, Texas; brothers: Willie Gonzales of Sinton, Texas; Gabriel Gonzales (Leisha) of Austin, Texas; Joe B. Gonzales and Harvey Gonzales, both of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Gloria G. Garza; Lupe Chapa (Johnny) and Janie Gonzales, all of Sinton, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. George had a dedicated devotion to his family.

He could always be counted on for love and support. He took care of us all and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton.

A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial will be private.
