George Houston West, 68, of Etowah, NC passed away on September 4, 2018 at Pardee Hospital. He was born on February 25, 1950 in California to George Houston West and Mary Etta Bryan West. In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his wife Marggie and his brother Bryan.

George retired from the US Navy. He is survived by his son, David Bitton of Longwood, FL; brothers, Steven West of National City, CA and James West of Jacksonville, NC.
