Trent McFadden, 63, of Asheville, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2018. Trent was born in Morganton, North Carolina to William Grover McFadden and Mary Joan McFadden on March 13, 1955. He graduated in 1973 from Glenbard South High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Trent graduated with a B.S. degree in Marketing from The University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1978. He earned a Project Management certification from Steven’s Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey in 2000. Trent worked for numerous companies, the most recent was BAE Systems in Wayne, New Jersey.

There Trent worked as a Senior Business Administrator and was instrumental in setting up the company’s Six Sigma program. In Trent’s spare time he loved long distance motorcycle riding. He served as first officer of the New Jersey chapter of the Southern Cruisers motorcycle club.

Trent obtained his private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. He was a collector of rocks and minerals and enjoyed finding new specimens. He also served as a Deacon and an Elder at the Bound Brook Presbyterian Church in Bound Brook, New Jersey, and loved the Lord.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Meagan, and his beloved son, Brian, both of New Jersey, his mother, Joan McFadden, of Richmond, Virginia, a sister, Chris McFadden Stewart, of Asheville, North Carolina, a brother, Ben (Vanessa) McFadden, of Richmond, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
