Jean Lee Vick, age 90, died on October 22, 2018 at her home in Asheville, NC. Jean was born on September 10, 1928 in New Orleans, LA to Hubert Austin Lee and Maxye Levisa Bullock Lee. During her professional life, Jean taught line dancing classes in Addison, TX and later in Asheville, NC.

During her younger years she enjoyed sewing and cross stitch, often making handmade clothing. Jean also enjoyed skating, which she started doing in the 1970’s, switching later to line dancing in the 1990’s. She was predeceased by both of her parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Jill Little (John) of Asheville, NC and Judy Haynes (Neal) of Zachary, LA; sons Stephan Vick and Stuart Vick (Shana) of Wilmington, NC, and Jeff Vick (Barbara); eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, Jennifer, Scott, Tanner, Harper, Hannah, and Megan; and 5 great-grandchildren, Haylee, Laurel, Ava, Emily and Grant. In lieu of flowers the family requests a memorial be made to Memory Care, Care Partners Adult Day Program or to Care Partners Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Asheville Mortuary Services.
