Obituary for George Hunt Print Mr. George Hunt, of Ardmore, departed this life on January 22, 2019 at Elmbrook Nursing Home at the age of 82 years, 3 months, and 3 days. Services are scheduled for 2PM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Mary Niblack Baptist Church in Ardmore. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Ardmore.

George was born on October 19, 1936 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Herman O. Hunt and Mrs. Alice F. (Fraser) Hunt. He was raised and lived all of his life in the Ardmore area. He attended Ardmore and Dickson Public Schools and graduated from Dickson High School.

Mr. Hunt married Mrs. Toni P. (Means) Hunt and they made their home in Ardmore, enjoying many wonderful years together. He was employed with Michelin for 20 years and worked in tire building. Ranching was his passion, he loved raising cattle and the country way of life.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking and especially making his homemade BBQ. Mr. Hunt was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Member of the Mary Niblack Baptist Church. George is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Toni Hunt; son, Kevin Allen Hunt; daughter, Valerie Hensley; three brothers; granddaughter, Bobbie Rose and an infant great grandson.
