George Marquardt Jr. 77, of New London, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 18, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 25, 1941 to George and Sophia (Skalitzky) Marquardt in Appleton, WI. George loved to tinker on old cars, and had a special love especially for Harley’s.

He served in the U.S. Army with an Honorable discharge. George is survived by his daughter; Karen Dombrowski, 3 brothers; Jeff, Dave, and Don; 1 sister; Judy Sternhagen; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; as well as his lifelong friends; Peggy and Monty. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister; Kathy Marquardt.

A special thank you to Monty for all the care you gave to George. A celebration of life with military honors will be announced at the Valley Funeral Home website.
