Robert G. Anderson, age 96 of Appleton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at The Gardens of Fountain Way Assisted Living. He was born March 31, 1922 to John and Gertrude (Rockwell) Anderson. He now joins his wife, Edna (Hochholzer) Anderson, who preceded him in death in May, 2003.

Bob is survived by his grandchildren: Jay (Susan) Knowles and their children, Whitney and Taylor; Joe (Carolyn) Knowles, and their son, Matthew; and Jacci (Andy) Millard, and their children, Nathaniel (fiancee’ Melissa), and his daughter, Madelyn; and Austin. He is also survived by one sister, Jewel Lakvold (Ironwood, MI) and her children, Michael, Mark, and Marcy. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, daughter Judith Knowles, son-in-law Gerald, his parents, and his brothers, John, and James (Marian) Anderson.

The family would like to extend our gratitude for the excellent care he received at The Gardens of Fountain Way, St. Elizabeth Hospital and Ascension Hospice. Per Bob’s wishes, no services will be held. A private family gathering will be held to reunite him with Edna at Highland Memorial Park.
