George O. Campbell September 30, 1944 – May 19, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card George O. “Cheeta” Campbell, 74, a resident of Muncy, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Born September 30, 1944 in Muncy Creek Twp. , Lycoming Co., PA, he was the son of the late Orvis and Mary Aurand Campbell.

He was the husband of Kathy (Bachman) Campbell. George was last employed as a painter by Muncy Homes. He enjoyed spending time at his river lot, biking, walking, watching football, especially the Miami Dolphins, and helping others.

He enjoyed the companionship of his pets. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Amanda (Sean Bassett) Campbell of Hughesville, PA; Jeremy (Veronica Raup) Campbell of Muncy, PA and his companion, Penny Smith of Muncy, PA. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 N. Main Street, Muncy. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Hughesville. Please visit www.
