George P. Den Boer, aka “Red Eye”, 82, of Dupuyer passed away at his home of natural causes on January 14, 2019. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, January 25, at 11:00 AM at the Choteau Pavilion. George was born November 24, 1936 in Chandler, Minnesota to Peter and Ruth Den Boer.

He graduated from Valier High School in 1956. He went to work for Mountain Bell and saw many changes. George retired from Century Link in 1994.

George married Lorraine Francis Miller on April 7, 1958. They were married 19 years and had 4 children. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, ranching, and sharing knowledge with anyone.

Most of all, he found joy in helping others. Survivors include partner, Cindy Lowry; his children, Michael (Barbara) Den Boer, Diana (Dick) Heiner, David (Sandy) Den Boer, Todd (Cindy) Den Boer; 17 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Harlan (Iris) Den Boer and Leland Den Boer. George is preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild; and 2 great grandchildren.
