Mr. Gerald D. Fox, 70, of Goldenrod Drive, Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Fox was born July 30, 1948 in Catawba County, the son of the late Paul Fox and Dorothy Williams Fox. He worked as a self-employed heavy machine operator and was of the Christian faith.

He loved to work and watch his garden grow. He enjoyed NASCAR racing. He loved his dogs that he called his babies, Susie and Sissy.

Those family members left to cherish and honor his memory include: his wife of 33 years, Reba E. Fox of the home; a step-daughter, Tammy Blanton and friend, Phil Brendle, of Vale, NC; step-son, Jeff Leonhart and wife, Paige, of Vale, NC; four step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
