Mrs. Martha Wilma Jones Griffin, 89, of Millers Creek, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Martha was born on September 11, 1929 in Wilkes County to Albert McKinley Jones and Matilda Eller Jones. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Martin Griffin; daughter, Katie Griffin; sisters, Bonnie Church, Catherine Curry, Virginia Lackey Rosa Holloway; brothers, Fred Jones, Barney Jones, Alvin Jones, Willard Jones; grandchildren, Jo Ann Anderson, Brenda Sue Anderson, Claude Dean Anderson and Coty Wingler.

Those left to cherish Martha’s memory are her sons, Jackie Griffin( Michelle) of Millers Creek John Griffin ( Glenda) of Millers Creek, Bill Griffin of Millers Creek, Lewis Griffin of McGrady, Mark Enos of Charlotte; daughters, Georgia Griffin (Johnny) of Millers Creek, Bonnie Perez also of Millers Creek; 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Griffin Family Cemetery on Shoe Road in Millers Creek. Brother Farrell Shepherd will be officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Moravian Falls. In addition to flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital : 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be sent to: www.
