Gerald “Jerry” F. Hassenplug, 74, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 2:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont. He was born April 30, 1945 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Troy and Dorothy (Gable) Hassenplug. On February 28, 1971, he married the former Lisa A. Ale, who survives.

Jerry was a graduate of Milton high school. He served six years in the Air Force until he was honorably discharged. Jerry was an avid hunter.

He was a member of the Spruce Run Hunting Camp, Union County Sportsman Club, and Milton American Legion Post 71. Surviving in addition to his wife, is one son and daughter-in-law, L. Eric and Jenni Hassenplug of Middleburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Cindy Hassenplug of Milton; and six grandchildren, Jareth, Lane, Tanner, Halie, Kylie, and Bree. Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd.

, Mifflinburg, where the memorial service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Carvel May, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Pennsylvania, 2595 Interstate Dr. Ste 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
