Gerald “Gary” Francis Ferriell, 62, of Bardstown died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He was born July 31, 1956 in Louisville. He was a manager at Kohl’s, a graduate of U of L with a Political Science Degree, and a U of L Cardinal Fan, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lillie Ferriell. He is survived by his sister, Lisa (Carl) Frazier of Louisville; three brothers, Don (Louise) Ferriell of Louisville, Denny (Kathleen) Ferriell of Bardstown, and Jim (Vickie) Ferriell of Mt. Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday, January 14, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate.

Visitation will be from 2 till 7 pm Sunday, January 13, 2019 and 9 till 11 am Monday, January 14, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
