Obituary for Gerald “Gerry” Richmond Gerald W. “Gerry” Richmond, 74 of Pittsfield, MA passed away June 5, 2018 at home. Born on April 2, 1944, the son of the late Edward and Vera LaPorte Richmond, he was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. Gerry served in the United States Navy in Vietnam, from 1964 to 1969.

He was a welder by trade and at one time worked at General Electric. He enjoyed horse racing, hockey and the Boston Red Sox. He leaves his brother Steve L. Richmond of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Gerry will be held, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11am at Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
