Obituary for Judith “Judy” Whitney Judith “Judy” Marie Whitney, 70, of East Housatonic Street, Dalton, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Adams, Massachusetts on September 15, 1947, the daughter of Frank Major Jr., and Alice Mach. Miss Whitney was employed in food services and had worked most recently for Stop & Shop Supermarkets and at the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires.

Miss Whitney was pre-deceased by her beloved partner of forty years, Raymond M. Gregory, Jr., who died August 26, 2017. She is survived by Ray’s family: Robert and Georgine Gregory of Burlington, VT, Shawna Gregory of Great Falls, VA, Charlene and Paul Barber of Orlando, FL, Christopher and Diane Gregory of Mesa, AZ, Paul and Sue Gregory of Pittsfield, MA, John Ezra Gregory of Great Falls, VA, Margaret and John Gregory-Bilotta of Hinsdale, MA, Jane Gregory of Pittsfield, MA, Matthew and Debbie Gregory of FL, and her beloved cats, Dusty, Paws, and Sassy. FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services for Judith M. Whitney will be held Saturday, July 14, at 10:30a.m., at St. Joseph’s Cemetery with Rev.

Peter A. Gregory, Pastor Emeritus of St. Charles Church, officiating. Those attending are invited to meet inside the Cemetery gate at 10:15a.m. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
