Doris Haze Post , August 26, 1927 — September 14, 2018

Obituary for Doris Post Doris Hazel Post, 91, formerly of Lebanon Springs, New York, died Friday, September 14, 2018, at Lee Health Care, where she had resided the last four years. Born in Pittsfield, Mass. , on August 26, 1927, the daughter of Henry William and Doris Inga Roberts Vogel, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.

Mrs. Post was the bookkeeper in her husband’s business, Dan Post, Inc., a two-way radio repair company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon Springs. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, crocheting, and crafting, as well as bowling.

Her husband, Daniel L. Post, whom she married in 1945 died in 2001. Mrs. Post is survived by two sons, Daniel L. (wife Debra) Post, Jr., of Hudson Oaks, Texas, and Douglas C. (wife Ruth) Post of Lebanon Springs, N.Y.; two daughters, Doris A. (husband Larry) Williamson of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Diana M. (husband Harold) L’Hote of Washington, Mass. ; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: There are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church, 35 Main Street, Lebanon Springs, N.Y. 12125. DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
