Obituary for Sandra Lubold (Pemble ) Sandra Marie Pemble Lubold, 73, of 638 County Road, Becket, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at her home. Born in Pittsfield on September 16, 1944, a daughter of Marcel and Ruth Hoskeer Pemble, she was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph Central High School. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who was most passionate about making a difference in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and the many children she lovingly cared for in her home.

She was last employed at the former Mapleview Nursing Home in Washington. Mrs. Lubold was a former communicant of St. Charles Church and was a member of the former St. Matthew Catholic Church in Becket. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and was the first female Boy Scout leader in the Berkshires.

She loved all animals, both wild and domestic. Her husband, Charles F. Lubold, Jr., died December 2, 2013. Mrs. Lubold is survived by two daughters Kirsten M. (and David) Britt of Maple Grove, Minn.

, Dr. Jeannine M. (and Dr. Manish) Parikh of Ashland, Ky. ; two sons, Charles F. Lubold, III. of Becket, and Ken M. (and Mary) Lubold of Plymouth, Minn.

; eight grandchildren, Elliot, Lauren, Zachary, Cameron, Emma, Maya, Charles IV. , and Hannah; three sisters, Roseann Pharmer of Dalton, Shirley (and David) Quail of Hinsdale, and Phyllis (and Tom) Ditello of Lanesboro; three brothers, Earl (and Jodi) Pemble of Stephentown, N.Y., Gary (and Kathy) Pemble of Lanesboro, David (and Kim) Pemble of Pittsfield; a brother-in-law, Robert Mollison of Cheshire; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Ruth. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Marcella Mollison and her brother-in-law, Paul Pharmer.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Sandra Marie Pemble Lubold will be held Thursday, July 12, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m, at St. Charles Church celebrated by Rev. Peter A. Gregory, Pastor Emeritus. Burial will follow in North Becket Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 11, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME in PITTSFIELD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
