Gerald Lee Alvey, 82, passed away on March 9, 2019 in Bibb County. He was born in Connersville, Ind. , on April 19, 1936, to the late Wallace and Garnet Cherry Alvey.

He served in the United States Army, after service he worked as a mechanic for the Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the Eatonton Pentecostal Holiness Church and was an ordained minister. He enjoyed singing but most importantly he loved his family.
