Funeral services for Mrs. Teresa Elizabeth Gilman Brown, age 88, will be conducted Sunday, June 2, 2019, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home interment will be private in Baldwin Memorial Gardens with Rev Larry Glover officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Gilman and Mildred Kemp Gilman; husband, Earnest J. Brown and son, David W. Brown.

Mrs. Teresa Brown was a lifelong resident of Milledgeville; she had worked at JP Stevens, was a homemaker and loved dogs. Mrs. Brown was born Catholic but after marriage had attended the Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Dixon of Milledgeville; son, Steve R. Brown of Milledgeville; Grandchildren, Rhonda Dixon, Shawn (Heidi) Brown, Heather Dixon all of Milledgeville and Darcy (Shane) Lantz of Key Largo, FL.

Great grandchildren, Urijah Lantz and Makayla Brown. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
