Geraldine Gerry Hancey Heddrick, 73, passed away November 29, 2018 of natural causes at her home in Carrollton, Texas. Gerry was born April 19, 1945 in Deming, New Mexico, the daughter of her late parents, Harold Maurice Dixon and Dorthella “Dot” Boyack Hancey, and adopted father, Denzil L. Hancey. She graduated from Bountiful High School and later attended college in Washington and the University of Utah.

She was a manager and sold Tupperware for many years. She married Jack Williams and they had a daughter, Wendy Jane Williams (Cory) Ogden of Everett, Washington. Wendy later had three grandchildren that Gerry never had the privilege of knowing.

Gerry and Jack later divorced, and she married Robert “Bob” Hedderick. They were sealed in the Temple in Atlanta, Georgia and were married for 34 years. They had their daughter, Danielle Gerry Hedderick Hodges (Cory), and they later became the grandparents of Blake, Gambit and Kinsley, all of whom Gerry adored.

Gerry was kind and loving. She took in strays, whether animal or human. She did not look at people for their status in life or care about what they looked like.

She provided a home for many that were in need. Gerry leaves loving memories to be cherished by her loving sisters, Kittie Holfeltz (Glade) of Joseph, Oregon, and Sarah Bair (Rodney) of Eden, Utah; as well as her brother, Thomas Hancey of Eden, Utah; along with many nieces and nephews, step-brothers, step-sisters, and cherished friends.
