OBITUARY Geraldine Marie Hodge July 12, 1928 – June 22, 2018 Geraldine Hodge, 89, passed away on June 22, 2018 in Renton Washington. Geraldine “Gerry” was surrounded by her loving family. Gerry was born in Leonard, Missouri in 1928.

Gerry grew up in California and Idaho. She was the younger of two children. Gerry graduated from Excelsior High School in Norwalk, California.

While in California, Gerry met Ernie Hodge and in 1949 they eloped and were married in Las Vegas. Together they raised a family of two children and later moved to Seattle. They purchased a home in Bellevue.

Together, they spent their lives doing the things they loved; spending time with family, golfing, salmon fishing, traveling with their RV and square dancing. Gerry worked as an accounting specialist at Unigard Insurance in Bellevue for many years until her retirement. Gerry is preceded in death by her husband Ernie and her sister Wilma.

She is survived by her two children Janet and Dan, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Our hearts will carry memories of her sweet and caring nature. Gerry’s family and friends will miss her – but rejoice that she will be with her husband Ernie, family and her two dogs.

A private graveside service will be held on July 1st, 2018 at Sunset Hills Memorial park in Bellevue at 12:30 pm.
