Obituary for Geraldine “Gerry” McCormick Geraldine Marie McCormick “Gerry”, 91, of Cheyenne passed away June 30, 2018, surrounded by family. Born November 22, 1926, in Ypsilanti, MI, to Lionel and Bernice Smith. Gerry married Harry “Dr. Mac” McCormick, on June 21, 1947, in Sault Ste.

Marie, MI. She is survived by four children, Gerry (Bob) Bodley of Port Huron, MI, Matthew McCormick of Marysville, MI, Mark McCormick and Heather (Eric) Wiseman of Cheyenne; brother, Jody Smith of Willis, MI; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, and a grandson.

From 1974 to 1977, Gerry and Dr. Mac went to Saudi Arabia to set up a new hospital lab. Dr. Mac was a pathologist, and she worked at his side as a histologist. They considered it an experience of a lifetime!

During their time abroad, they traveled to many countries and brought home treasured mementos. Memorial services will be Monday, July 9th, 11:00 at St. Andrews Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be given to St. Andrews Anglican, or other charities in Gerry’s memory.

Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
