On May 9, 2019; Geraldine Virginia Smith (nee Sites); originally from Grant County W. VA. , now currently a resident of Perry Hall, MD. for over 50 years; a member of Cowenton United Methodist Church for 58 years; enjoyed being a homemaker and mom mom as well as a quilter.

She is the beloved wife of the late Virgil Andrew Smith; devoted mother of Mary Ann Lengyel and preceded in death by a daughter, Henrietta Susan Smith; cherished grandmother of George Lengyel and his wife Lorie, Virginia Lengyel, Christina Rockey and her husband Cristion; great grandmother of Dylan, Joshua, Zachary, Dorian, Calliope and Samantha; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Geraldine’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services-Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Friday May 10, 2019 from 7-9 pm.

Further visitation will be celebrated at Schaeffer Funeral Home, 11 Main Street, Petersburg, West Virginia 26847 on Saturday May 11, 2019 from 6-8 pm with a funeral on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Interment: Kline Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be sent to the family at www.
