Obituary for Mrs. Gerda Grgin Gerda Grgin, age 78, of Chicago, passed away Wednesday morning, August 22, 2018. Beloved wife of Fabian; loving mother of Tommy (Doris) Grgin and Doris (Chuck) Roeske; cherished grandmother of Rachel (Michael) Barranco, Veronica (Andrew Jacob) Hutchins, Carly Roeske, and Zachary Roeske. Gerda was an avid Cubs fan, and she dearly loved gardening.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband Fabian to their island home in Croatia on the Adriatic Sea where she loved to fish and tend garden. So long as there was food, drink, and family surrounding her, she was happy. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends both in America and in Germany.

Visitation Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave. , Chicago until time of Funeral Service, 12:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.
