Obituary of Gertrude Bars Gertrude Bars passed away April 19, 2018 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center. Born September 24, 1923 in Lockport she was the daughter of Walter and Nellie (McGraw) Verity. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband, Richard Bars in 1980.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter Joan (Gregory) Ciliberto; grandchildren Jason Ciliberto and Marissa (John) Ciliberto-Laubacker; great grandson Autsin Michael Laubacker; siblings John (Catherine) Verity, Donald Verity, Nancy (Boyd) Holtham and late Robert Verity, Walter Verity, Helen Marie Verity, and Mary McAvoy; also several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, April 23rd from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24th at 11 AM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
