Ginger Raye Garvey, 61, of Terre Haute, passed away December 13, 2018 in Union Hospital. She was born February 11, 1957 to Raymond and Shirley Watson Garvey in Terre Haute. She worked for Indiana State University in the Cunningham Memorial Library as a computer specialist for 40 years.

She loved to do crafts and art projects, including stamping, card making, and crocheting. She loved her family very much. She was the backbone of her family, taking care and making time for anyone who needed her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, and a great nephew, Javin Wallen. She is survived by her father, Raymond Garvey, brothers; James Garvey and his wife Cathy, and Francis Garvey Sr., nephews; Francis Garvey Jr., Christopher Garvey, and James Wallen and his wife Julia, niece, Racheal Gant and her husband Ryan, and her special babies; Michaela Wallen, Conner Wallen, and Madelyn Gant. Per her wishes cremation was chosen, with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
