Gisela Gertrude Olah, 83, of Columbus, GA passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center. A Funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, March 8, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. (EST) with Pastor Kevin Zeitlin and Monika Olah officiating. The internment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (EST). Ms. Olah was born on May 27,1935 in Stuttgart, Germany to the late Willie and Rosa Roth. She had a gift of creating the most beautiful floral arrangements and decorating with a special touch that reflected her loving and caring heart.

Nothing, however, could match the joy she had when caring for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Other than her parents, Ms. Olah is preceded in death by her son, James Olah.

Survivors include her former husband who remained involved with her until the end, James H. Olah; son, Edgar Olah and wife, Janice, of Florence, SC; son, Ralf Olah of Columbus, GA; daughter, Monika Olah of Panama City, FL; brother, Gunter Roth of Stuttgart, Germany; daughter-in-law, Regina Olah (wife of James Olah); grandchildren, Jennifer Olah Galloway, Stephanie Olah Kelly, James M. Olah, Christopher Olah, Jeffrey Olah; great-grandchildren Kaylyn Olah, McKenlie Galloway, James K. Olah, Charles Olah, Sebastian Olah; nephews and nieces, Markus Roth, Stephan Roth, Lora Mosser Walters, Ralph Mosser, Mary Mosser Nessler, Raymond Olah, Glenn Olah, Nancy Ritter Taylor, Betty Ritter McCreery; brother-in-law, George Olah; Those desiring to extend condolences may visit www. vancebrooksfuneralhome.net.
