Gladys M. Creger, age 90, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Nevada, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 8:47am in her home in Upper Sandusky. Gladys was born on October 18, 1928 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio to Walter and Bertha (Sulser) Noe, both of whom are deceased.

She married Franklin J. Creger on November 26, 1949 and he passed away on November 12, 1985. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Beverly Roe of Holland, Ohio, Barbara (Norman) Tong of Nevada, and Linda Butler of Oceola. 2 grandchildren, Frank (Christie) Butler and Sara Tong, and 2 great grandchildren, Eli and Cody Butler.

She was preceded in death by a son Thomas Creger, 2 brothers, John and Harold Noe, and a sister, Alberta Busler. Gladys was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at the Liberty Freedom Center. For hobbies, she enjoyed going to auctions, garage sales, visiting Amish Country, sewing and quilting, baking, raising flowers and vegetables, and helping at Harold and Lucy Swinehart’s produce business, along with her friend Marva.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00am at the Nevada Cemetery with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Freedom Center or Hospice of Wyandot County and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
