Obituary of Gladys Rojas Gladys Esther Rojas passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 with her husband and eldest son by her side at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 74. She was the daughter of the late Victor Huertas, Sr. and Guillermina Vazquez, born on April 3, 1944 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

For many years she worked at Community General Hospital as an executive secretary. She was a warm and caring wife, mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many, including generations of children whom she taught, encouraged and supported in her church (Assemblies of God in Liberty, New York) where she was a member for over forty years. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband Jose Rojas, her children Michael Lee Rojas of NYC, Raquel Rojas of Willington, NC, and Gabriel Rojas (Jaime Abraham) of Kiamesha Lake, NY, her grandchildren Schyler Pittaluga, Elijah Rojas, Olivia Rojas, Reese Perez, Mason Perez, her sisters Isabelita Garcia and Judith Lopez, and her brothers George Garcia, Victor Huertas, Jr., and Luis R. Huertas. Visitation will be on Monday, October 29, 2018 6-9:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00am at the funeral home.
