Glenda “Dee” Eileen Doyle, age 82, residing in Granger, Indiana passed away at 6:25 pm on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Hospice House, Elkhart, Indiana. Dee was born on September 9, 1935 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Royal and Marian (Teske) Mastain. On November 20, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church Elkhart, Indiana she was united in marriage to Russell Floyd Doyle, who preceded her in death on September 29, 2010.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Dianne L. (John) Gaunder of Edwardsburg; two sons, Russell T. (Susan) Doyle of Bristol and David G. (Gina) Doyle of Granada Hills, CA; seven grandchildren, Heather Doyle, John Gaunder, Saige Gaunder, Sierra Gaunder, Lauren Doyle, Emmer Doyle and Sloane Doyle; and one great granddaughter, Emma Young. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Winifred Clayton; and her brother, Richard Mastain. Dee retired from CTS after 30 years of service.

She formerly attended Timberland Church of God. Dee loved her dog “Minnie” and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Engelbert Humperdinck. She enjoyed gambling at the boat.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 am Friday, May 25th at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. , South Bend. Services will follow at 11 AM with Chaplain Margie officiating.

Graveside services and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN. Contributions in memory of Dee Doyle may be made to Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Online condolences may be shared with the family at the Palmer Funeral Home website.
