Glenda’s Obituary Glenda L. Sheets, age 78, of Nappanee, died at 8:15 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Signature Health Care in Bremen. She was born July 3, 1940 in Nappanee to Foster and Velma (Mangus) Dumph. Glenda was a 1958 Nappanee High School Graduate.

On July 22, 1962 she married Donald Sheets in Nappanee. He preceded her in death December 4, 2011. Glenda was a lifetime area resident.

She had worked at Evangel Press as a Bookkeeper for many years. Glenda had attended First Brethren Church in New Paris. She enjoyed doing puzzles and visiting with her neighbors in NorthWood Circle.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Ward, Bremen; and a son, Russell Sheets, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Daniel (Amanda) Ward, Bremen, Jessica (Brandon) Hershberger, Plymouth; great grandchildren, Hudson Ward, Memphis Ward, and Emzy Hershberger. She was preceded in death by her half sisters, Velma Berger, Dorothy Hollar and Mary Edith Holdeman. Family and friends may call from 2-7 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service, Monday, March 4th also at the funeral home.

Pastor Jeff Estep, of First Brethren Church in New Paris, will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Elder Haus.
