Obituary for Glenda Rogers Congleton Glenda Rogers Congleton, 68, of Pacolet, SC, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at her home. Born January 21, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Glenn and Eleanor Elizabeth Greene Rogers. Glenda was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church and the Vice President of UM Women.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Alvin Congleton of the home; daughters, Stacy Congleton Turner (Ricky) of Spartanburg, SC; Magen Congleton Cook (Brian) of Pacolet, SC; Shanna Congelton Clark (Michael) of Pacolet, SC; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and brothers, Donald Rogers of Spartanburg, SC; Richard Rogers of Spartanburg, SC; and Allen Rogers of Cherokee County, SC. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church, 160 Limestone Street, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM at the church, conducted by The Rev.

James McDowell and Lay speaker and friend, Mr. George Gentry. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church, 160 Stone Street, Pacolet, SC 29372.
