Obituary Service Details Glendal Earl Wetherington, age 78 of Metropolis died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Baptist Health in Paducah. Glen was the systems engineer for I.T.T. Courier at different parts of the country. For many years he’s been “retired” enjoying family, friends, and life and trying to make life better for all he could.

Glen is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen and son Gregory Allan Wetherington and granddaughter Gracie Ann of Roseville, Michigan, and his brother Dwayne Wetherington and wife Linda of Sebring, Florida and by his Aunt Betty Hickman and husband Clayton of Metropolis as well as other extended loved family. He is preceded in death by his son on April 9, 2018, Douglas Scott Wetherington and by his parents Earl and Novella Wetherington and Aunts Catherine Willie, Louise Nunley and Bobby Sue Wetherington. Private services will be held at a later date.
